IP address changes to MAC address

I have 4 350 series access points, 3 repeaters and 1 root access point. All is working well with the added security, BUT

after around 19 days 2 of the repeaters tell me that they are leaving the "BSS", then i cannot log on the them and when i try with my laptop to asscoiate it associates with the MAC address of the Access point. I cannot ping any of them and our node managment machine thinks they are down.

is this due to inactivity? how do i get it back to associate with the IP address??? The only one i can log one too is the root access point which as a IP address.

I would be grateful for any ideas.

Cheers

Darren

Check if they alone are using an older version of software, if so suggestion would be to upgrade to the latest software.
