Is AP explosive

Dear Sir,

I may sound stupid but I would like to know. I wish you can help me with my enquiry.

I have a customer who would like to have wireless LAN installed in his factory. The location is highly flammable, the processing line will emit kerosin and flammable substances. If there is a spark occured in the area, explosion will happen.

Will the AP or the signal likely to cause any spark?Can I proceed with the design?

I think that there is always a possibility since you do have to supply power to the AP. It would be the same if you had any other equipment in the area that is supplied power. You can try using an external antennae to get coverage in the required area and place the AP in a safe area. Just a thought.
