Is this normal about user ip address in ISE/WLC

Hi We have c9800 wlc with SSID Corp, BYOD and Guest, and connection to ISE for authentication/authorization. Client PC can get three ip address from these three SSID respectively. At almost the same time, we can see these ip addresses in ISE/Live log, but most time we cannot see ip address for BYOD in ISE Live log. The area where there should be BYOD ip address is empty. Do you think if this is normal? or there is a configuration issue? Thank you

There are several ways on how the IP address comes to the ISE. 

Under Administration -> Deployment -> select one of the nodes -> Profiling you have the various options on how the ISE can learn information of the clients. 

The options here depend heavily on your setup and what you want to achieve. 

On the WLC under the SSID -> Advanced make sure that you have both options under Radius Client Profiling enabled. 

Also you might want to add the ISE nodes as ip helper-address on the affected VLAN if you don't use Radius for authentication, while also enabling the DHCP probe on the ISE.
