L2 switch for WLC (CT5508) to do Mobility Roaming?

We have a small wireless network for about 9 APs. Can we use a Layer 2 Switch as the Core/Distribution switch to connect to the WLC?

Is there any issue doing Layer 2 mobility roaming, instead of Layer 3 mobility roaming with the APs within the building?

Core/Distribution Switch: WS-C2960G-8TC-L

I can't see any reason you couldn't use that switch with your APs and WLCs.

I believe you are just trying to accomplish what is referred to as a "flat" network?
