Hi,
How we can limit or deny any Lighweight Access Point Registeration to the Controller, i have 12 1242 LAPs and they are registered to the Controller, i need a mechanism to restrict any LAP registeration, can we do it through LAP MAC? or any useful way?
Thanks in Advance

Hi Friend,
You can configure AP authorization list in controller under security section. In AP authorization list section you have the option to authorize AP wither thriugh AAA or via local database. You can add your APs mac under local database.

Also you can configure ACLs and deny the LWAPP traffic and apply it as CPU ACL.

I do it by using a router ACL applied to WiSM management interface vlan. Something like:
permit udp x.y.0.0 0.0.255.255 z.z.z.0 0.0.0.15 range 12222 12223
