Hi
I have the below topology .Between core is layer 3 . Access layer is also layer 3 .
Now I want to connect a wlc to the core and need redundancy .
what is the solution
question 1? what if I connect wlc also layer 3

what is WLC HA mode you use ? just inform me and I supply you with right config with vPC NSK

So, AirOS WLCs do Eterchannel. How we do ours.
WLC1 is Etherchannel trunk to Core1 (mode on vs mode active)
WLC1b is etherchannel trunk to Core2.
we use a non routed vlan on the cores to send the failover link between them.
I have not used the 9800s myself, but expect similar.

Are you using flexconnect or localmode ?
In your scenario , you are using as two standalone wlc ?
Can you please tell me how you configure the ssid and vlans .
Let us say you have an ssid test and vlan 10 interface on the wlc 1 and vlan 10 gateway configured on core 1 . This works perfect . Now what will happen if wlc1 fails ?
