LEAP support in 350 (repeater mode)

I recently learned from a Cisco Gold Partner, that Aironet 350 Access Point does not forward LEAP packets in "Repeater mode". Can this really be true?

If so, I find it difficult to accept, because I'd like to use an AP as a wireless cell extender and I need LEAP for the clients.

This is a common misconception. CLIENTS have the ability to perform LEAP authentication through a repeater however, REPEATERS do not have the ability to authenticate via LEAP through the root AP.
