License Installation fail in WLC 2504

Hi,

we have purchased 5 AP license and want to add in WLC 2504. But when we install license from tftp server it's give an error.

It is showing "Installation process complete 1 License(s) failed; "

Kindly help me to add license in WLC 2504.

Make sure the license was an addr license. Also you can open up the license file and verify the serial number of the controller. If that is not matching your controller serial the license would fail. You should open a TAC case with licensing as they can regenerate a new license file if the one you have is wrong.

Issue has been solved. PAK was registered with wrong PID.

i have same problem with Rajindelhi also,

(nstallation process complete 1 License(s) failed; )

actually i confuse with How to add in new PAK to get new license. which details (PID and S/N) of hardware should be add in.

i have 1 PAK (for AP license), need add in to WLC2504,

when go to website to license registration, i can add PAK, but i fill in PID and SN from WLC2504,

that's is correct?
