Link between AP1230B and WGB352

Hello all,

Building A: Access-Point 1230 B with Version 12.2(11)JA.

Building B: WGB352C with Firmware Release 8.84.

All works fine - means I think the configs are OK.(authentication open - 128Bit WEP nothing else)

But (mostly) overnight the connection gets lost. Sometimes even at Day, while traffic passes the link. Only a restart of the AP1230 helps for the next few hours.Any suggestions?

You need to check to see if there is any interference around the access point. Make sure the access point is not near any equipment such as ac units or large light fixtures as this could cause EMI which would interfere with the signal from the AP.

First: Thank You for Your answer.

Sorry for my late response, but now I know that interferences are not the poblem.

Maybe the hardware of the WGB. I changed the 1200 but the problem still occurs. Is there a difference by configuring the 1200AP over WEB-Interface / Terminal?

I guess that directly configuring by Terminal/IOS lets the AP work more accurate !?
