Hi Matthias N.

Did you create VLAN & DHCP scope for local switching, I think that is the problem.

Regards,

Krishan

Hi Krishan,

where we can I find this options?

If we untickt under WLAN's>"WLAN-SSID">Advance>"FlexConnect Local Switching" the DHCP works and I got an IP. But if the Option FlexConnect Local Switching is enable its dont work.

We have an Windows DHCP server and a radius server. And VLAN are configured in our network environment.

Matthias

AP type? Maybe 1810 or 1815? Trying to use the wired ports? Client vlan and AP vlan same or different?

The switch port should be trunk and allowed required VLANs.

AP management and client VLAN should be different.

We have an Virtual WLC. We are using AP "AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9" and AIR-CAP1602E-E-K9

Client and AP VLAN are not the same.

Switch ports is trunk and allowed required VLAN's

If we using local EAP authentication does it work, but if we use the external windows radius server its not work.

In the radius server log I can see that the authentication was accept.

Yes, it will work, If  you use Flex-connect group.

We have already configured all APs in FlexConnect and FlexConnect groups.

Best regards,

Matthias

HI Matthias,

For local switching you have to configure three thing

1- WLAN's>"WLAN-SSID">Advance>"FlexConnect Local Switching.

2 AP mode will be change into FlexConnect

3. create local VLAN which to be use for mapping with SSID in the flex-connect tab in the AP configuration.
