Locking IP address to Wireless Host/User

Hi,

Is it possible to lock a specific ip address to a host? I didn't see this option on the wlc 5508 version 6.0.196.

If you mean like reservation, I think it is not possible.

I don't think it is possible using the internal dhcp of the wlc ( I didn't see a reserveation option there), but maybe in other way?

I have this option in my home Linksys router, is it possible that the WLC is not support this option?

IT doesn't matter what firmware you are using the the WLC.  This feature is not supported.  The DHCP function for the WLC is a very simple service.  If you want to reserve or exclude an IP address then you'll need to go to a dedicated DHCP server or routers or switches.
