Low Throughput Speeds on 5508/2602e setup

I'm seeing very low throughput speeds for some users in my wireless network.  I'm currently using a 5508 controller with 2602e AP's (4 antennas attached).  I have no more than 16 users on a radio.  Tested speed vary from 45 Mb/s to less than 1 Mb/s all with connections reporting at 450Mbps.  The radios are configured to use 40Mhz frequencies and the channels are spaced to provide for no to limited interference.  I'm letting the 5508 controller handle the power for the APs.  Suggestions?

I would check the "show client detail <client_mac_add> " output & verify client connectivity details. See below thread as I have posted what you should looking for.

If low data rates (anything below 12Mbps) enabled in 802.11a or 802.11b/g band , I would disable them as well.

Most of the time these low throughput depend on client capability as well. so check client specs as well.
