We have just configured MAC Authentication for our wireless WLAN via the Cisco ACS Radius Server.
The server is configured with a list of MAC addresses to allow on the wifi network and the controllers send authentication
requests to the radius server. This works with no problems.
However, we were surprised that the MAC logon 'events' are not logged in the ACS Radius Server. We cannot find
any logon events for MAC addresses. Any ideas ?
Note: the same server is also used for tacacs logon on switches and these logon events are logged without problems.
