I'm trying to find a quick way to find the authenticated username when I have the IP to go by. At the moment, the only way I can find how to do this is in the WLC, go to 'Monitor' --> 'Clients' and click on each MAC address until I find the IP and then also the Username on the same page.
There's gotta be a better way?

WCS or Cisco Prime NCS.

Is that really the only way I can get this information? I don't need it to be that easily obtainable... just something better than clicking each client MAC address.

Doesn't compute.
You mean something easier but not that easier?

As in I don't want to purchase/implement anything else to obtain this small piece if information if possible. I'd be happy if there was a way to do it with what I have, even if it takes a bit of work (but clicking each MAC address in the web interfacejust isn't feasible.) Clearly the data is in the WLC but there seems to be no other way to get at it?

Hmmmm ... You could use CLI but this method is a 2-step one:
1. sh client summary
2. sh client detail

Hmm, I did try that but it is essentially the same as the web interface as I still have to provide the MAC address for each client. I suppose it can be scriptable to pass the MAC from the summary to the 'client detail' command but I'm not sure I have enough knowledge to do that although I'll look into it.
Any other ideas are very welcome
