Maximum RSSI

Hi All,

I'm new to Wifi and just have a quick question concerning RSSI.  I know that the closer you are to 0....the stronger the signal.  We've recently deploy a few 3505's and a 3702 access points.  What I've realized is that the closer I am to the AP my RSSI peaked at -45 dBm.  Just wondering is this a standard max across Cisco AP's?  Or does this have to do with the way we have our AP's configured?  Or is does it have to do with the device I'm taking the measurement from.  Just wanna figure out what variables play into this.

Regards

Ok....Did some more research and stumbled on this link.  Not sure how I missed before but here's an article that pretty much broke this down for me.

hopes this helps other newbies like myself.
