Mesh Access Point is rebooting automatically

Hi Team,

We have Mesh AP (IW6300) having it's association too distant from RAP (IW6300). The MAP automatically reboots after sometime. Is it because there's sufficient distance with it's Parent RAP that causes this issue. or what can be another issue for MAP rebooting automatically.

I think you need to provide a little more information. How far is the distance you are talking about? Is there line of sight between the two with no tress or obstruction in between. What is the rssi between the two when the link comes up? Any errors or have you noticed anything else that you can provide?

Define "reboot":

  • Lost power?
  • Crashes?

What troubleshooting have been done?

Yes. AP reboots as such it loses power and again starts.

RAP to MAP association is happening at lower RSSI, but MAP restarts automatically at interval of every 1 hour.

Are you definitely sure the AP lost power and did not crash?

yes.

Is there a way to interrupt the rebooting of AP I found Debug LWAPP client  no-reload command

Is this the correct method, or do I need to do it differently?

That is the command
