I am interested in replacing the integrated wireless card in a dell notebook with a Cisco card so I can utilize LEAP. Is this an option? What does the process entail? How many have done this? Is it Cisco supported?
The Cisco Mini PCI card should work with no problems in the Dell. If Dell cannot tell you which integrated cards are compatible with their machine then you would use the Cisco Aironet PCMCIA card and disable the integrated card.
