Here in the UK, my region code is "E" - so the LAP I install would be e.g. a 1815W-E-K9.
BUT, I have some 1815W-A-K9 and country AR for Argentina. Obviously these will be mixing, within the same building and controller, with existing LAP with region "E".
I'm still getting a test rig set up, but technically this looks possible.
My question is, even though technically this may be possible, is there any reason why I would not want to do this.
Many thanks!
Mal.

When number of access points increases it is easier to assign a controller per regulatory domain.
this document may help https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-5/config-guide/b_cg85/country_codes.pdf
you will find you can configure advanced options to specify country per access point.

Only common channels will be enabled. This means the -A will be broadcasting with fewer channels.
Use incorrect APs with the wrong Regulatory Domain at your own peril.
