Mobility Service Engine back up failed

I have recently installed Cisco MSE and attached it to my Prime infrastructure 2.0 appliance but the MSE backup failed with the following error

MSE Backup failed for mse.xxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Reason: null

I can't see any reference to backup errors, has anyone else had a similar issue?

It happens due to compatibility issue between the PI and MSE. What is the MSE version? Check the compatibility from

Thanks to correct my original post I have the following versions.

MSE version 7.6.100.0
Prime version 2.0.0.0.294

which if I am reading the matrix correctly are compatible
