The data rate between AP and SW / 1 is capped at 100 Mbps and operating at half duplex

The switch port is configured in auto mode. I have set it to 100 full duplex and 1000 full duplex, but the message still appears. I’m not sure if the LAN port of the AP needs to be configured

Put both on auto.

Make sure the cable is good and fully plugged in on both sides

Try another switch port

Hi,

What is switch and Ap model ?

Did you check the cable ? Is it ok ?

Yes,you need to check the port settings on AP local status page too.

As others have said checking the cabling as that's the likely culprit usually, if you have Meraki switches you can use this tool: https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Using_the_Cable_Test_Live_tool

Hi @JFer

I would recommend you to put both ends on auto. Secondly, make sure the cable is good (Bypass the patch panel if any and directly have the AP connected to the switchport). Lastly, try another switch port. Alternatively, can also try to connect another test device using same cabling to same switchport to verify if the issue subsides.

If the problem continues, contact our support hotline/open a case for further troubleshooting.
