MSE Automatic Backups

Hi all,

I was looking at performing automatic location data backups from the MSE to Prime.

I know I can configure this in Prime by going to:

Administration / Settings / Background Tasks / Mobility Service Backup

Documentation suggests that backups are stored in the local /FTP repository, but I am curious as to what protocol is used to perform the backups? If it is using FTP where are the username & password credentials stored?

I am using MSE 8.0.100.0 and Prime 3.0.
