MSE NTP issue

wireless wlc

Level 1

Hi,

MSE3355 running 7.0.201.204 . NTP is configured in intial setup and synced with NTP server. but when i see the time, its offset by 6 hours. I have set the timezone correctly as per the location we are in and it still shows wrong time. Is there anyway i can configure a time offset (+6) or something in MSE CLI (linux) so that it shows correct time ?

MSE is added in NCS.

regards

Joe

Hi Joe,

The time should be coming from the /etc/localtime so comment the line from /etc/sysconfig/clock to look like

#ZONE=UTC

set the timezone using the command:

cp /usr/share/zoneinfo//  /etc/localtime

Make sure the NTP server shows the right time. Sync the ntp server & restart the service using the following commands:

ntpdate -u

service ntpd restart
