I got 2 Cisco350 APs colocated for the same area.
One is using static key WEP encryption, the other is not.
The clients are both Cisco (PCMCIA & PCI) and non Cisco (IBM laptop embedded).
Users asociated to the AP that uses encryption cannot start Outlook Express and browse global directories on Exchange Server, while the others have no such problem. (some sort of progress bar appears "Outlook is retrieving data from the MSExchange Server xxx" and it seems to mean a timeout that expires, then the error message appears)
I tried switching components and concluded that the problem is not related to the client, specific AP, Outlook version or so: same wireless client, same Outlook client, same AP - it does not work with encryption; it works immediately after I remove encryption.
Gonna do some sniffing and traffic analysis later today, but if anyone can help in any way I would appreciate it.
Best Regards

It's me again: I forgot to mention - the client is running Windows XP Professional. I found out that this problem does not occur on the same configuration but using Win2000 instead of WinXP.

The problem is solved. The AP port was set to translate to 802.1H ethernet instead of to RFC1042
( Setup -> AP Advanced )
. . . in case anyone encounters similar problems.
