Multiple access point in a warehouse

I have a setup in my warehouse with multiple access point (8 Aironet 1100). We have forklift truck with thin client installed accessing our network via wireless connection but I need the wireless connection to be able to switch from one access point to another seamlessly. Currenly, I have the access point setup with different channel making sure that they don't overlap each other by 3 channel. The SSID of each AP is different (based on the suggestion of my vendor). Each AP has its own IP address and is connected to a POE Cisco switch.

My problem is when the client drives around from one area to another in the warehouse, the system does not automatically switch to another access point even when it looses the signal from its original AP. The client are running Windows XP Tablet edition with built in Intel WL2011B wireless card. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You dont need different SSIDs for each AP. Configure all of them with the same SSID and configure the client to connect to this SSID.
