hello,
i under why APs have multiple antenna and how they use them.
but what i dont understand is why APs have separate antennas for transmit and receive. because as for my understanding they both work on the same channel therefor the same shared media, so why is there a need for a 4X4 antenna and not just a 4 that transmit and receive ?
i have looked through the CCNA wireless and could find information on this subject so any info would be appreciated
