Multiple SSIDs- Not connecting to both

Hi Everyone,

We have some 1200 series APs (802.11b only) and they have multiple SSIDs configured (#1 and #2). Each SSID is on a separate VLAN and the switchport is a trunk port.

For some reason, users only are able to connect to SSID #2. If they remove the connection for SSID #2 so as to only connect to SSID #1, no connections are able to be made wirelessly.

Can someone help point me in the right direction as to solving this?

Thanks

Pete

The VLAN number must match the Native VLAN configured on the switch. For further information verify the following URL:

Thank you for the reply. What is interesting is that on one CAT2950 switch, we have 3 access points configured. All 3 switchports are configured the same exact way and only one access point is problematic. For AP#1 and AP#3, we connect to the desired SSID just fine, for AP#2, we connect only to the SSID that we wish to retire, even when SSID#1 and SSID#2 are configured (just like the AP#1 and AP#3).
