New to wireless controller 5508

I have all of my access points converted to lightweight except for 4 1242s.  They are setup using 5Ghz as a wireless bridge and the 2.4 radio for wireless clients.  Do i need to convert to WAP to lightweight, if so how do i setup the access points to use the 5Ghz radio as a bridge.

You could convert them to CAPWAP and use them as MESH bridges.  Here is the link to the indoor MESH guide, so that you can take a look at this as an option.

IMO, if you are using them to link buildings, I might leave them IOS for the time being.
