No Global Configuration Mode?

I'm sure this has something to do the RAM or Flash memory.  This is an access point that's been sitting on the shelf and as far as I knew it was working.  However, I can enter privileged mode but there is no "conf t" or configure terminal option.  I tried holding down the Mode button on reboot but it didn't seem to change anything.  I'm just trying to gain access to the gui.  I see the IP address from an IP scanner I have but am not able to access it via web browser.  This is all I'm seeing from priveledged mode.

Hi

As I suspected this AP has lightweight recovery image (C1130-RCVK9W8-M)

This mean you require a WLC to manage & configure this AP. If you have autonomous image (eg c1130-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JY.tar) then you can convert this to Autonomous & configure it normally.

Here is the conversion process

I wish I was a little more patient because this looks like a much simpler solution than I found.  I ended up reloading the image it just took me a while to figure out how to do it.  It was fun to work through it though.  Thanks for the replies, I looked through the links you provided and it looks like that would have resolved it as well...and would have been easier. lol.  Thanks

The AP is running in Lightweight mode  , WLC is required to configure  Lightweight AP . So you need to convert it to Autonomous AP then you can configure it through CLI or GUI .

One more question.  I cannot find a wireless controller, that I know of.  I'm looking for a 2504, the one I'm used to seeing, and have yet to find it.  Is there a way this can be done with SDM or using a router with a wireless controller module(which i'm still looking for)?
