No https access to standby WLC 3504 in HA

Hi,

I can't get http/https/ssh sessions to standby WLC 3504 when primary is off, version 8.10.185, all clients communications work well...

The WLC respond to pings

Is it normal or is there any configuration to solve this?

Thank you

Cheers

Hello @pfaiscacisco

Sounds to me like configuration problem on the interface (trunk) between the secondary wlc and the switch.  I recommend to compare it.

Hi,

The settings on the switch are the same on all ports:

-----------------------

switchport trunk allowed vlan 3,4,10
switchport mode trunk

----------------------

Thanks

Did you activated the service port?  This is not a solution but could be an auternative to access the WLC and try to see what is happening.

Hi,

I haven't tested and I'm not near WLC right now

Thanks

Yeah, this could be a good option. You can actually put the service port on the network for this purpose.

Wlc HA which mode ? N+1?
