Hi

Did you setup the DNS in your DHCP pool,

When a APPLE device did't get a DNS ip address, it would consider itself offline and don't show the WIFI icon.

You should give your IPAD a DNS ip address, even a fake one.

Should be an issue with your end device. Try to update the software on it & test.

This is not an issue with infrastructure (AP & WLC)

Hi,

Check the AP groups on vWLC!!

Did you broadcast the SSID ?

Check AP model, vWLC only support Flex-connect mode APs.!

Check client driver!!

Thank you , I will have a go for your advise.

How do you make an IP address because my WiFi icon is not popping up on my iPhone either

And please send a screenshot of what you actually have in the top left corner.

I have a similar problem I rebooted my router then my Internet came on and now all of a sudden it’s not popping up in the corner of my phone but it’s working please help

You should start a new thread. This one is very old and unless you have the exact same model of equipment, hard to answer your question. Also provide more detail.
