" If we need to block p-2-p communication, then the "drop" option in WLAN > ADVANCED section, is required.
But is there any extra configuration we need to do if the APs are on different controllers, and clients connecting to same WLAN. "

Hi,
No, Then you must use ACL to block it.
Peer-to-peer blocking is supported for clients that are associated with the local switching WLAN

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks for the reply.
So, are you saying, we would need ONLY acl or BOTH acl and "drop" ?
I tried with below setup
client1 > AP1 > WLC-1
cleint2 > AP2 > WLC-2
WLC-1 and WLC-2, having the same SSID parameters and are in same mobility group.
I was able to ping without any configuration. But when I enabled "drop" alone , without an acl, the ping got blocked.
I made sure clients are connected to diff controllers.
Any clue, why this could have happened ?
