Painting a Cisco 3500 Series AP

I've found documentation on painting a Cisco antenna, but I haven't found anything regarding the AP itself...

Can you paint the 3500 Series AP's themselves to match the decor in the room you are mounting them in?

Specifically the AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 and AIR-CAP3502E-A-K9???

Yup, just dont use metalic paint and you will be good. I have a customer painting his 3500s cream color ...

it would be nice to post pictures of painted APs, so we can chose which color gives the best look :-)

LOL... well this guy ended up painintg over the LED light too! What was he thinking ... I have no idea !

Believe it or not, I once had a TAC case where the customer complained that his 1130s had the LED being pink and that there was no pink mentioned in the data sheet.

It seems there was a "bad" batch produced with pink LEDs. I'm sure those would have sold nicely on ebay :-)
