Pairing of two wireless LAN controllers

Hello I am learning in a company. I have a 2504 wireless LAN controller that is plugged into the LAN and controls WIFI access points and one that is not active.
My mission is to plug the other into the LAN network to be paired with the other.
This would allow if the main controller falls the other take over.
I have not seen this kind of thing on the internet so if you can help me or direct me to a link that explains how to do it, that would be okay.

Thanks for your help

PS: The controller that is active is not updated, I have to update it before pairing or the other will see that it is not up to date so it will do so.

If you want more precision, I am listening.

Please follow the below Cisco documentation.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/hi_avail/N1_High_Availability_Deployment_Guide/N1_HA_Overview.html

Once done you have to manually configure both WLC's to match the configuration or you need Cisco Prime to manage the config sync across multiple WLC's. Make sure both are running the same AireOS code. Cisco TAC recommendations can be found in the below link
