phone 7940 in SIP in French

Hi all,

I've got 7940 phones.

I've alredy converted some to P0S3-08-11-00 of the SIP kernell. (I can go ton any other version whithout any problem)

It works fine but in english, and I need to convert them in french.

In The settings, Localization (7), It shows me : Language: English, and doesn't cycle between other versions.

I've heard about locales, but I'm stuck and I don't know how to convert the phone to french.

Services menu applications written in Cisco IP Phone Services. You can develop language-specific applications for a particular region. For example, an application that displayed the current weather in Sweden using Swedish characters can be displayed on the Cisco SIP IP phone. If you develop the same application for a Spanish locale, the application can be translated into Spanish.
