Power consumption of AIRONET 1300 SERIES ACCESS POINT/BRIDGE

Our systems will be deployed in mountains where sufficient electricity power is not available, which requires small power consumption in the harsh environments.

I have checked the specification for “CISCO AIRONET 1300 SERIES OUTDOOR ACCESS POINT/BRIDGE”. There isn’t any information about DC power of AIR-BR1310G-x-K9 and AIR-BR1310G-x-K9-R. I only found that “AIR-PWRINJ-BLR2T needs +12 to +40V DC, +/-10%, 2 W.” My questions are as follows:

- Is 2W the average power consumption or max power consumption?

- Is 2W the power consumption of the power injector or the wireless bridge or both? I ask this question because 2W is a quite low number compared with similar product of other companies.

- Is one 12V car battery for the power supply enough for the system including a high gain antenna?

- The transmit power at different data rates is different. Does it mean the wireless bridge consume less power at low data rate?

- Does the working status(transmit, receive, idle) effect power consumption? If the wireless bridge is idle, does it consume less power than when it is transmitting data?

- Is there any information about the power consumption of the wireless bridge’s different working status?
