Hi,
Do I need to plug in AP 1262 into a PoE switch or external power adapter before can power on? How about LAP 1262? Do I need PoE switch as well?
Thanks.

Or you can use PWR-INJ3.

Correcting the statement of Leo,
you can use either of below option only.
AIR-PWRINJ4 (Not Injector 3)
PoE Switch
Power Adapter with 44 to 57 VDC.

As mention befor by Leo you can use:
AIR-PWRINJ4 (Not Injector 3)
PoE Switch
Power Adapter with 44 to 57 VDC.
Note: When deployed using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the power drawn from the power sourcing equipment will be higher by some amount dependent on the length of the interconnecting cable. This additional power may be as high as 2.45W, bringing the total system power draw (access point + cabling) to 15.4W.
