Prime Infrastructure 3.8 Smart Software Manager

Hello

 

I am in need of some help please. I am trying to get Prime 3.8 registered with on-prem Smart Software Manager satelttie but when try to register device, i get error -  Registration failed due to connection error

 

I have the following url set in the transport gateway field - https://(ip_address)/#/service/oddce/services/DDCEService

When i do a connecivity test on this url, i get failure. But if i change the url to have https://(ip_address):8443/#/service/oddce/services/DDCEService the test works and confirms the server can talk to the license server.

 

Any ideas or suggestions please.

1) our ssms satellite listens to a completely different url  https://<hostname>/Transportgateway/services/DeviceRequestHandler 

2) read the release notes of Prime 3.8 en ssms for version compatibility

3) there may be an ACL/firewall in the path between Prime and the sattelite that blocks port 443 (https) and allows port 8443?

 

Smart Call-Home URL: Smart-enabled product instances need to be configured to send the registration request to SSM On-Prem. This is accomplished by setting the destination http URL in the Smart Call-Home configuration section of product configuration. The URL should be set to;

https://:/Transportgateway/services/DeviceRequestHandler http://:/Transportgateway/services/DeviceRequestHandler.
