PRIME Infrastructure showing VOIP Call Failed (Error code 14 or 15)

Hi.

Has anyone of you encountred the message:

VOIP Call Failed for "(Error Code 15) occurred on client "xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx' which was associated to AP <APName> on interface 802.11b/g?

The client is using a 7921 wireless handset and she's complaining that sometimes when she makes a call, the phone displays "leaving service area". This does not happen all the time, it happens intermittently on the user.

Your comments related to this issue is appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,

Ken

make sure the data rates configured like below :

1)for 802.11a :

12.0 should mandatroy , higher data rates supported and the lower should be disabled .

2)for 802.11bg:

11.0 should be mandatory , higher data rates supported and the lower should be disabled

I'm also having this issue for one of our clients.

Well not in Prime but the 7921G phone intermittently showing leaving service area

Client has a 2504 controller with 1832 access points

I have tried 8.1.131 and 8.2.100 code but not making any difference

Thanks mohanak I have looked at these already.  But this is happening while standing under an AP. Without roaming with very good RSSI and SNR or moving between AP's

I read somewhere that continuous scan should be set on the CUCM, is that a default?
