I am trying to upgrade my Prime Infrastructure from 1.3 to 2.2 but the restore is failing. I pulled a backup of 1.3 and restored it to 1.4. Then I took a backup of 1.4 and I am trying to restore it to 2.2. The restore keeps failing saying that I need to reset the db on 2.2 and try the restore again. I make it to stage 8 of the restore before it fails. Any ideas?

That is what I followed. I did not move any licenses to my temporary 1.4 prime though

Take a look at this:
If you are currently using one of the following versions of Prime Infrastructure, you can back up your existing data and then restore that data to a different server running Prime Infrastructure 2.2:
If you are using a version earlier than 1.4.0.45 or 2.1.0.0.87, you will need to upgrade your server to version 2.1.0.0.87 (or version 1.4.0.45) before taking the backup.

I would probably go to PI 3.0 also. Standup an new VM instance and perform a backup and restore. License is not node-locked, so as long as you have the old license or SmartNet, you are good to go.
