I have a cisco 1041N access point set on RADIO band 2.4 GHZ. now WITH 2.4 GHZ I want to configure it on the band 5 GHZ

The 1041N only has one 2.4GHz radio, so you can't configure 5GHz on this. The 1042N has two radios, 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
