Firstly, i would like to explain my situation, I have a Router EA2700 in first floor of my home, but in second floor, my wireless signal is poor. I tried to use a WAP200 AP to a wireless repeater to increase the signal in second floor.
I configured the WAP200 using the option of repeater. I write the MAC of the EA2700 router and save the config.
First I try using the same SSID and WEP password, but, when try to connect, using the WAP200, i can´t receive IP Adress, and mark Connectivity limited.
Then I reset the WAP200 AP and the first thing to do when i entered, was select the option repeater, the device ask me for WEP password, I wrote and then save. But show me another SSID call Ciscosd, but i can´t connect, and if i choose my principal SSID in second floor continue with my poor wireless signal.
Can you help me to solve this problem??
