QoS for voice with WLC 5760

  Greetings,

  Have to config a QoS policy for voice and I just can not find a proper document for the 3.3 code ( WLC 5760).

Hi Loc,

Are you using 5760 with a CA design or is it simply use WLC in CUWN design. If it is a CUWN design, then you need to configure AP connected port to trust DSCP & WLC connected switchport to trust CoS. Then WLAN to be configured with platinum equivalent QoS policy. The first link (witten by Jerome Henry) you found is the one at least explain topic in detail. I haven't configure it by myself, if I get a chance I will test this & let you know.

If you are using this as part of a CA design, then you can classify wireless traffic at access layer same as your wired traffic. Below post will give some guidance & few other reference links if you are in that situation.

  Hello Rasika,

  Mine is a existing CUWN so I already have QoS to/from Acess point< -> WLC, we only need to apply coresponding policy to the voice ssid.. The first link is seem not correct for 3.3.x code. I should have about 4 policies with planium for voice as planium but it pop up the above error upon configure ....

  I will review your config and run some test.
