QOS Roles?

Hi

I'm looking to implement QOS roles for my guest traffic. I have a guest WLan with web auth, but the QOS role option does not appear under the wireless menu.  Wireless > QOS > Qos Roles.   So far I have  tried it on 2504, 4402, and on a Virtual WLC and none have the option.  I suspect this feature may be 5508 (or 7500) only.   Can anyone confirm this?

No, this feature is there in 44xx,25xx & many other controllers. Below config guide says only 2106 it is not supported

Yep

Been through the admin guide. The option is not avaiable from gui nor  the CLI on either the 2106, 2504, 4402 (running 7.0.116) nor on the CLI of  the Virtual WLC running version 7.4.

I have built Web  based authentication WLAN, and local guest user just in case they are require to make the option visible.

The options are not there on the CLI nor on the Wireless QOS option.

License? 5508?

add            Creates a local network user.

delete         Delete an existing network user.

description    Sets the description for a network user.

guest-lan-id   Configures a Wired guest LAN Id for a network user.

guest-role     Configures a Role for Guest User.

lifetime       Configures the lifetime for a Guest Network User. Valid range is 60 to 259200 seconds.

maxUserLogin   Configures the maximum number of login sessions allowed for a network user

password       Configures a password for a network user.

wlan-id        Configures a Wireless LAN Id for a network user

(4402-3) >config netuser guest-role ?

apply          Applies a Role to a Guest User.

create         Creates a new Guest Role.

delete         Deletes a Guest Role.

qos            Configures QoS parameters for a Guest Role.
