query to MS AD

hello, is there a another way to query the AD besides installing CSACS in a member server or using a remote agent? if yes, how do i go about it?

You can bring up Microsoft IAS - it can function as a RADIUS server for all EAP types (except LEAP or EAP-Fast).

IAS will / can be configured to auth against the AD.

There are some white papers on both Cisco and Microsoft's wesites.

Can you describe what you are trying to do and with what type of hardware?

Configure LDAP in the external database option in ACS and do ldap searches into AD.
