Folks,
I have been looking through Cisco's support documents and cannot seem to find an answer to this problem. I was hoping some of you might be able to help me out.
I've got a Cisco Aironet 350 (Model AIR-350PCM) PCMCIA wireless adapter. I'm trying to use it on an Apple PowerBook G3, running Mac OS 9.2.2. I have the Cisco drivers and utility installed. Cisco did make drivers for this card for the Macintosh.
All I ever get when I boot up the wireless management utility is: "Error retrieving status." I am getting a 169.254.x.x IP address from the adapter, which means DHCP isn't working properly.
It's worked fine under a couple of laptops running Windows XP. And I have updated the firmware to the latest version.
And I've tried this on two different PowerBook G3s running the same version of the Mac OS, with the same drivers. And I still get "error retrieving status."
If anyone can point me to a solution or an explanation, it would be appreciated. Thank you.
