"Wi-Fi Direct Clients Policy" Modes

marhifer2003

Level 1

The options available are

Disabled — Ignores the Wi-Fi Direct status of clients thereby allowing Wi-Fi Direct clients to associate

Allow — Allows Wi-Fi Direct clients to associate with the WLAN

Not-Allow — Disallows the Wi-Fi Direct clients from associating with the WLAN

What is the difference between option "Disabled" and option "Allow". It seems to have the same effect.

Thank you!

Disabled ? Ignores the Wi-Fi Direct status of clients thereby allowing Wi-Fi Direct clients to associate

This means it will allow these clients to associate but will ignore the Wi-Fi Direct status.

Disallow will deny all
