The company I work for has required Radius authentication for wireless users. In order to get on wifi, the PC and the user need to be in AD and the user needs to be in an AD wifi group. This security seems to make a lot of sense except for one issue. How can a user log onto windows without having the network established if they have not previously logged on the machine to generate a profile? This became an issue as we are rolling out new devices without a LAN NIC (just wifi). Any thoughts and or suggestions would be helpful.
