hello Team,

Can somebody guide me how to edit web redirect URL attribute which is sent by WLC to external web authentication server for authentication?

Actually, in my scenario, i am not getting client mac address in redirected URL thus need to add this parameter.

I know the below attributes are there.. but I have special requirement of client mac address attributes.

  • ap_mac—The MAC address of the access point to which the wireless user is associated.
  • switch_url—The URL of the controller to which the user credentials should be posted.
  • redirect—The URL to which the user is redirected after authentication is successful.
  • statusCode—The status code returned from the controller's web authentication server.
  •  wlan—The WLAN SSID to which the wireless user is associated.

Best Regards

Anil Singh

  3. redirect append client-mac tag mac

Pls rate the post and change to correct

Hello Anil,

Do you have a deployment with anchor controller ?

We want to have AP Mac to be in the redirect URL, but the SSID is tunneled via EoIP between anchor and internal controllers.

The mentioned commands, where should we add these commands ?
