Hi,
I'm looking for some alternatives for a redundant deployment of the SESM application in a hotspot environment.
Currently the only option I can imagine is some L4 load balancing box (placed in front of multiple SESMs with SSG redirecting the appropriate requests to the load balancer virtual IP).
Or is there some kind of 'native' redundancy built into SESM ?
What are the common deployment scenarios ?
thanks
cheers,
Stefan

You can deploy multiple instances of the same SESM web portal and balance the load as you would with any web server application. The Cisco Content Services Switch 11000 is recommended for load balancing.Refer URL

thanks for your response,
so the SLB / RLB solution seems to be the common deployment form ...
cheers,
