Repeater AP while using WPA2 Enterprise

Hi guys,

we're having 5508 wifi controlles thus running our APs in lightweight mode. For a special office location I would need a repeater for the wifi signal. No forward on ethernet port of the AP, only wifi extension.

Is it possible to leave the root as contoller controlled AP and link and repeater AP to it? If so how can the repeater AP authenticate for the one ssid I need to extend? dot1x? User based auth would work for the beginning.

 You need to use Mesh network.
